Institute of Nuclear Sciences VINCA, Gamma laboratory (Vinca)

Vinca is the largest and most important scientific institute in Serbia and Montenegro performing fundamental and technological research, both on theoretical and experimental level in numerous disciplines including physics, chemistry, physical chemistry, biophysics, molecular biology, medicine and informatics. The department to be connected with the INCOMAT project is "Gamma laboratory" which is one of most developed research unites of the Institute. For some years the Laboratory is involved in programs of fundamental research connected to biomaterials, polymers, optically active materials for medicine and electronics (positron emission tomography, lasers, scintilisers, high energy radiation detectors), rod/wire semiconductor materials, diluted magnetic materials, colloidal metal powders etc.
